
The Rye Field Hockey team celebrated senior night emphatically on Saturday, October 18, shutting down Arlington in a 4-0 win. The Garnets outshot the Admirals 13-3 and dominated time of possession to pick up the home win in their final regular season contest at Nugent Stadium of the 2025 campaign.
“In the beginning of the second quarter Beau Whaling had a great feed into the circle,” Valerie Perkins described after the game. “Issy Mann received the pass and took a quick shot to put our team ahead 2-0.”
The goal helped Rye turn their pressure into results in the second quarter. The Garnets’ final two goals came in the fourth quarter. Mann finished the night with two tallies plus one assist, and she was flanked by Jules Karmilowicz (goal) and Liv Prata (goal, assist). Chloe Holden pitched the shutout in goal with three stops.
