The Rye Boys Golf team extended their season-opening winning streak on Thursday, April 30, defeating Byram Hills by six strokes 194-202. The Garnets have now won their first thirteen matches of the year and seem unstoppable with the playoffs rapidly approaching.
Derek Bisceglia posted the best score of the match, shooting a 36 (one over the par of 35 at Blind Brook Country Club). His round was highlighted by an incredible eagle on a par four at the sixth hole on the course, holing out from beyond the green.
Rye will look for their fourteenth straight victory after a week off on Tuesday, May 12. The Garnets have just a handful of matches remaining before their Sectional tournament later this month.
