The Rye Boys Golf team completed a one-loss regular season on Thursday, May 14, defeating Bronxville 195-202. The Garnets defended the home course at Rye Golf Club by a slim margin thanks to a total team effort.

“The Garnets had a great season,” Head Coach Pat Romano remarked after the contest.

Sophomore Ryan Mascali was the match’s medalist with a +1 score of 37. Derek Bisceglia only trailed Mascali by one stroke with his 38.

Rye concludes the season at 16-1 as league champions ahead of sectionals. Individual golfers will compete on Monday, May 18, and look to qualify for states. The Garnets’ season is over.
