William Anthony Fallon of Rye Brook, New York passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 14, 2026 at the age of 89. He was born in Port Chester, New York on April 8, 1937 to William Weston Fallon and Jane (Glennon ) Fallon. His father, William, was the President and owner of Pac-Kit Pharmaceuticals in Greenwich, CT , a company that set the standard for first aid kits around the world. Bill graduated from Iona Preparatory School and Boston College. At the age of 16, Bill, an Eagle Scout, was selected to represent the Boy Scouts of America in The Crusade for Freedom European Trip. The Delegation traveled throughout several European countries to promote democracy. Bill’s role earned him numerous radio interviews and even an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. While at Boston College he continued to serve his country, as an officer in the U.S. Army ROTC. Bill then married his longtime sweetheart, Patricia Anne Kelly, a native of the Town of Rye whom he met at dance school at age 12. They shared 66 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2023.
Pat and Bill made their home in several places, including Pontefract, England. They settled and found great happiness in Armonk, NY where they raised their four children amongst their friends and neighbors in Windmill Farms.
Bill had an accomplished career leading industrial businesses in manufacturing and distribution. He began his career at General Electric and spent the majority of his career at RHP Inc., a British ball bearings firm where he was the President of the U.S. operations. Later, he became President and owner of Powell Supply in Haverhill, MA.
Bill was an avid sports fan. For many years, he could regularly be found attending West Point Football games and NY Mets and NY Giants games. Bill was a long time member of The Coveleigh Club in Rye, NY, where he and Pat formed many of their most cherished friendships. An enthusiastic tennis and platform tennis player, Bill was always the one who set up the weekend games at Coveleigh and made sure that everyone who signed up – showed up. He earned the nickname of “The Commissioner”.
Bill passed on his love of sports to his 4 children and his 13 grandchildren. You could always find Bill in the stands or on the field coaching them. Despite his tough exterior, Bill always had a quiet appreciation for music. He would recite the lyrics by a varied group of recording stars – from Billy Joel to Frank Sinatra to Neil Diamond, as if he were reciting poetry.
Bill was a quintessential patriot. He deeply loved his country, the Flag, the national anthem, and all things American. He was a real student of World War II. One of his proudest moments was saluting his grandson, Sean, upon his graduation from West Point in 2020.
Bill was pre-deceased by his wife Patrica, and is survived by his children Lorrie Egan (Jack)
