“Sound Shore Songwriter Series” at Rye Arts Center

Inspired by Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe, the Sound Shore Songwriter Series is an exciting new showcase for local singer-songwriters to perform original music and share stories behind the songs. Hosted by Rye-based singer-songwriter Paul Jensen, the kickoff October 15 showcase will feature artists Drew Angus, Charlotte Morris and Paul Guzzone.
Known for his soul-stirring vocal talents and compelling songwriting, Westport-based singer-songwriter Drew Angus has been captivating audiences across the country since he first “made it to LA” on American Idol. Charlotte Morris is a Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter whose music weaves together a unique blend of Americana, Folk and Jazz, delivered with soaring vocals often compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell and Sarah MacLachlan.
Paul Guzzone, perhaps best known as the bass player-vocalist in The Bacon Brothers band featuring actor Kevin Bacon, is an award-winning songwriter, recording artist, producer, concert curator, and educator at Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University.
