Rye City Council: Richard Mecca and Richard Slack won – ran unoppossed.
NY Assembly District 91: Former Rye Mayor and current Assemblyman Steve Otis won – ran unoppossed.
NY Senate District 37: Rye resident and current State Senator George Latimer won comfortably against challenger and Yonkers resident Joe Dillon (Republican, Conservative and Independence lines).
State races: Cuomo, Schneiderman, DiNapoli (Dem ticket) all won.
US Congressional District 16. Eliot Engel won – ran unopposed.
State-wide Proposals – all passed (Yes vote).
Proposal #1 is about re-districting and a proposed new process.
Proposal #2 is about allowing electronic distribution of state legislative bills.
Proposal #3 is about a $2 billion bond act to put technology and high speed Internet into the schools.
