This Section One Class A Qualification Round battle features long-ago adversary, the NYACK INDIANS.
According to tribal lore the Indians were in the same teepee battling Rye in a similar first-round raid in the ’09 playoffs. These warriors were slinging arrows, but were ambushed and their palominos herded by the Garnet defense. Over many moons the Garnets have scalped the Maroon and White handily at 9-5-0 (.643).
