It’s an old-time Westchester high school, yet the LINCOLN LANCERS are a relative newbie on Rye’s schedule with the first and only battle occurring in ’13. That contest was suspended at halftime and ultimately cancelled with Rye significantly in the lead at the half (1-0-0 1.000).
One of the five original Yonkers high schools, the Gold and White have historically been in Class AA or scheduled to compete in the Yonkers City League. The Lancers will joust and catapult with the Garnets, but it is highly suspect the Lancers will prevail. LANCE THE LANCERS ! ! ! LANCE THE LANCERS ! ! ! LANCE THE LANCERS ! ! !
