The Rye City School District is welcoming sixteen newbies this year. Most of these faces are new to the district, and a few are old hands in new positions.
Rye Middle School welcomes Scott Cifone, English Language Arts (ELA)
Some of Mr. Cifone’s students may be having him as a teacher for a second time. Mr. Cifone comes to RMS from Milton School where he worked as a fourth and fifth grade classroom teacher for 19 years and served as K-5 Level Leader from 2003 to 2015. Prior to teaching in Rye, Mr. Cifone taught at the Duke Ellington School in Manhattan. He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Education, both from Mercy College.
