Advancing to a 4-0 season, the Rye Varsity Field Hockey team clean sheet Clarkstown North 6-0 on Friday at home. Rye dominated the second quarter by scoring four goals in less than ten minutes.
Rye’s goals were scored by Ava Chiaravalle (two goals), Ellie Hedges (two goals and two assists), Casey Lehmann (one goal and one assist), and Lauren Walker (one goal). Lilly Whaling had two assists and Ella Buckley had one assist. Goalie Catia Lai had some critical saves which kept Clarkstown North scoreless.
Friday night was Senior Night for the Varsity Field Hockey. The following six seniors were acknowledged and thanked for their hard work and leadership: Jackie Quirke (captain), Casey Lehmann (captain), Anne Dailey (captain), Tatum Dailey (captain), Bella Chiaravalle, and Lucy Langer (team manager).
