Rye Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country competed at home today against Ardsley, high scoring 29 vs. 26 for Ardsley. Colin Rozowsky of Rye was the winner of the boys 2.8 mile in 17:45. On the girls side, Charlotte Spierings led Rye girls in a time of 21:17 over the 2.8 mile course for first overall in the girls race.
I love that you are covering RHS sports especially seeing as so few fans can watch the games. I think it’s important for readers to know that some of the great photos you post are from previous years so there is no misconception that these athletes are not following protocol and wearing masks.
I just emailed the publsiher the same thing. Please note that this picture is from last year. The XC team wears masks at all times during practices and even when racing.
