Redemption. January 14. Rye Beach Avenue / Old Rye Beach Avenue. Suspicious Vehicle. Caller reports an occupied van on Old Rye Beach Ave. Party collecting bottles. All in order 98.

Need the Cable Guy. January 14. Goldwin Street / Midland Avenue. Utility-Wire Down. Caller reports a wire hanging over the sidewalk near Rye Rec. Steel wrap wire for cable lines became loose and dangling over sidewalk. Secured with police tape to fence at intersection at Billington Ct. Cable co to be advised. Midland Ave and Palisade already has caution tape wrapped around it.

Repo Man. January 14. Rye PD HQ / McCullough Place. Repossession Of Vehicles. REPO AGENT PRESENTED PROPER PAPERWORK TO REMOVE NY ______ (VIN

Gassy. January 14. Orchard Avenue / Walnut Street. Utility-Odor Of Gas. report of odor of gas. CON ED ON SCENE

Size of the Amazon. January 14. Franklin Avenue. Assist Citizen. Caller reports that there is a large box that was delivered to her property currently blocking their door to enter into her home. He stated that this is not her property and can not read the label on the box. DISREGARD. PROPERTY REMOVED.

Went to Houlihan Lawrence? January 14. Purchase Street. Assist Citizen. Caller reports skateboarder are doing jumps in front of Sotheby’s. They have been asked in the past to stop this activity as it is dangerous to clients and pedestrians. The kids were asked to move along and stay off of Sotheby’s property.

Gassy. January 14. Boston Post Road. Utility-Odor Of Gas. call reports odor of gas outside of Post Rd Mkt. 60 Contr notified. FD and ConEd on scene. TOT FD.

More Gas. January 14. Centre Street / Forest Avenue. Utility-Odor Of Gas. Resident reports strong odor of gas in the above neighborhood. 60 Control notified. Scene TOT Rye FD and ConEd gas. 98.

Oh, Deer. January 14. Theodore Fremd Avenue. Mv Accident – Property Damage. Call over 911 through Harrison PD regarding MVA with a deer. Unclear to exact location, but Harrison thinks it is on Theodore Fremd Ave by Playland Parkway. Caller (language barrier) said he is by a BP Gas Station. Changed From 1 BOSTON POST RD To 401 THEODORE FREMD AV. DRIVER INFO TAKEN NO REPORT NEEDED.

Pole #17. January 15, Park Avenue. Utility-All Other. down wire, no report of power outage. cable wire down at location directly across from 337 Park Avenue, cable taped off moved off roadway at Pole #17.

Unyielding. January 15. Milton Circle / Grace Church Street. Assist Citizen. Caller reports hitting the Yield sign at Fireman’s Circle. DPW foreman Billy advised to inspect sign for damage. Sign still standing and visible.

Broken Down Box (Truck). January 15. Purchase Street / Station Plaza. Assist Other Agency (Not PD). Box Moving truck stuck under MTA bridge. MTA notified and responding. tot mta pd.

Climbing the Same Hill. January 16. Hill Street / Vale Place. City Code Violation – CW Construction Work. Caller from __ Vale Pl stated there is construction before 10 AM on Hill St. Has been an issue in the past.

Maybe Try Hotels.com? January 16. Courtyard Marriott / Midland Avenue. Assist Citizen. Staff at Courtyard Marriott has a guest that is no longer welcome. He needs assistance in finding another place to stay.

Mystery Men. January 17. Barlow Lane. Suspicious Person. CALLER STATES SHE SAW TWO UNKNOWN MEN IN HER DRIVEWAY (nfd). backed 11.

Darwin Award Winner. January 17. Purchase Street. Assist Citizen. Caller states she locked her self in the basement. Needs assistance getting out. Car 10 &16 dispatched. party assisted 98.

Take Charge. January 20. Thorne Place. Assist Citizen.  harrison pd called stating they found a wallet with ID from _ thorne. ADVISED BABYSITTER TO MAKE HOMEOWNER AWARE.

Clogged Up. January 21. Fieldstone Road. Assist Citizen. Caller reported her child got stuck behind the toilet playing hide and seek. cancelled by caller 98.

Stay Low. January 21. Rye High School / Parsons Street. Lockdown Drill.  LOCKDOWN DRILL COMPLETE.

Let’s be Constructive. January 21. Locust Avenue / Maple Avenue. Illegally Parked Vehicle. Caller reports vehicles parked illegally on Maple Ave. Cars belonging to a construction site on Maple were parking on Maple against signs posted. Spoke with the Project manager and Head Carpenter who stated that they will get all the cars, moved onto Central Ave. Warning issued. 97.

Trailing. January 21. CVS / Boston Post Road. Caller stated his trailer is missing. Trailer left on private property without permission. Towed by owner of property by private towing company.
