Bark, No Bite. January 29. North Street / Nursery Lane. Animal Complaints-Other Animal. Complaint there were dogs in the outside kennels. Temps below 10degrees. rye/harrison vet hospital and dog boarding both appear quiet, no dogs seen/heard

White Vans Intersecting. January 29. Milton Road / Playland Parkway. Mv Accident – Property Damage. caller states property damage motor vehicle accident between two white ford vans. caller states their current location is on playland parkway at the intersection of milton road. caller states accident happened in the area of playland market at forest avenue and playland parkway. parties wish to handle privately 98.

Call Plumber, Not Cops. January 29. Boston Post Road. Utility-All Other. call of pipe bursting at location. CONFIRMED THAT THERE IS A PIPE LEAKING WATER ON THE BOSTON POST RD SIDE OF MRS. GREEN’S. TOT FD.

Need Tow Help. January 29. Station Plaza / Peck Avenue. Suspicious Vehicle. parked key in vehicle, windows down. STATED VEHICLE WAS DISABLED AND IS WAITING FOR TOW.

Can Man? January 29. Oakland Beach Avenue. Suspicious Person. CALLER STATES SHE OBSERVED A MALE, DESCRIBED AS TALLER THAT 6FT WEARING; TAN CARHART JACKET AND JEANS, RUMMAGING THROUGH GARBAGES IN THE AREA. area canvassed, negative results.

Car vs. House. January 29. Anchor Drive. Mv Accident – Property Damage. caller reports a car has just crashed into their home and a person is in the car screaming. cars 11,18 and ems sent. Summons issued. MV-104A to be prepared.

Holly Cow. I Mean Dog… January 30. Maple Avenue. Animal Bite. caller reports that a female has been bitten by a dog and has a hole in her leg. car 18 and ems sent. BACKED.

Uh, Don’t Know What Your Car Looks Like Either. January 30. Brookdale Place / Milton Road. Suspicious Vehicle. Caller reports that he is walking his dog and observed a car that is not familiar to him. A White and Gray BMW 5 series occupied by one party. Area canvassed. No vehicle matching description found. GOA. 90.

Yutes. January 30. Palisade Road. Caller reports a group of teenagers making noise in a driveway and now walking down the street. CAR 10 BACKED – GOA. Parties dispersed upon arrival. No noise complaint observed. 98.

Checking In on Situation. January 31. Marriott Courtyard / Midland Avenue. Assist Other Police Department. PCPD stated there is an individual in the Marriott parking lot who was involved in an accident. MVA occured on 95 exit ramp. State Police notified. TOT NYSP 98.

Skating on Thin Ice. January 31. Edith Read Sanctuary / Thomas Keane Plaza. Assist Citizen. Caller reports observing kids walking on the ICE at Playland Lake. When observed this from Manursing Way. Checked Edith Read as well as Mansuring Way. Unfounded. Note: There was very little Ice formation due to todays temperature.

Got Plowed. February 2. Stonycrest Road. Assist Citizen. caller states a snow plow backed into her vehicle last night. Changed From CFS.008 To CFS.014.

Loud Hall. February 3. Highland Hall Apartments / Purchase Street. Loud Party. Resident reports a loud party. Condition corrected. Homeowner was advised to lower the music.

One Big Sheet. February 3. All of Rye. Road-Icy/Snowy ALL CITY RYE, NY Numerous reports from patrol about icy roads. DPW Foreman Rigano notified.

Washing Sand Away. February 3. Sand Street. Utility-Water Break. Report of a water main break. SUEZ notified (Nicole).

Gassy! February 3. Citibank / Boston Post Road. Utility-Odor Of Gas. Report of odor of gas at the front entrance. 60 control notified. Incident Reactivated. SCENE CLEARED BY CONED AND RYE FD 10-98.

In a Deep Hole. February 4. Orchard Avenue / Theodore Fremd Avenue. Road-Damaged. Complainant reports that his vehicle’s rim and tire were damaged by a large pothole on Theo. Fremd between Orchard and Locust Ave. Photos taken.

Full of Gas, Out of Juice. February 4. Nursery Lane. Suspicious Vehicle. caller states vehicle parked in lot, keys left in with doors open. CAR BATTERY DEAD. COMPLAINANT WAS ABLE TO REACH R.O.

Blowing the Whistle. February 4. Mohawk Street. City Code Violation – UN Unshoveled Sidewalk. CALLER STATES THAT THE ABOVE PROPETY IS IN VIOLATION OF THE CITY CODE (HIGHLAND RD SIDE). Owner is currently shoveling the sidewalk.

Blowing Smoke. February 4. Apawamis Street. City Code Violation – UN Unshoveled Sidewalk. CALLER STATES THAT THE HOUSE ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF APAWAMIS AVE NEAR MILTON RD IS IN VIOLATION OF THE CITY CODE. it is not sidewalk, it is grass. 98
