Four COVID Cases at Rye Schools

(updated Wednesday evening with additional information about a second case at Osborn Elementary)

On Wednesday, the Rye school district announced four COVID cases. Two of the cases were at the Rye Middle School and two at The Osborn Elementary School.

Dear Osborn School Families, Faculty, and Staff,

The District was informed this afternoon of an individual at Osborn School who has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual is currently in quarantine and was last at the school on Monday, March 8. Due to federal health privacy laws, additional information about the individual cannot be released. There is no need for any additional school-related contact tracing or quarantining associated with this case.

Please be assured that we will continue to do everything in our power to keep the Osborn School community safe.
