Rye Girl Varsity Swimming dove into Sectional Prelims on Wednesday.
“Freshman Sophia Lord made finals in the 100 breast, she is seeded 7th,” said Rye Girl Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Kelly Johanson. “She dropped 3 seconds from her season best.”
Other highlights from the meet:
- Megan Tiedemann placed 28th in the 100 back
- Kayla Lombardo placed 25th in the 500 free and 31st in the 100 breast
- The 200 free relay (Goldberg, Tiedemann, Hofmann, Lien) placed 15th and made it to finals
- The 400 free relay (Lien, Tavitian, Lombardo, Lord) placed 9th and made it to finals
