The Rye Ski Team competed in their final team race of the season on Tuesday against five other schools including Horace Greeley, Yorktown, Carmel, Brewster, and Pawling. The girls and boys teams both took 2nd place only to be bested by Horace Greeley.

Varsity Girls finish with a final record on the season of 13-3 and the Boys finish with a season record of 12-2.

“We had such an amazing season this year and both Coach Gray and myself couldn’t be prouder of how these athletes have developed,” said Rye Varsity Ski Coach Jeff Steinmann. “The kids have been training really hard up on the hill and the results have definitely shown. With 3 of our racers already qualified for the sectional championship next week, we have several other athletes vying for the last 11 spots in our Division with final results coming out later this week.”
