Rye Girls Varsity Softball diced Pelham on Monday, baking the ham 15-12.
“Great comeback win!!!!,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “Malena Santia hit a game tying solo HR in the top of the 7th to spark a 7 run rally. Pelham rallied in the bottom of the 7th to cut the lead to 15 to 12, but we were able to get the last out with the bases loaded. The team played great with everyone contributing. It was truly a team win.”
