School Budget Passes with 82% Support, Anderson & Boyle Win Uncontested Reelection

The results will be official when certified by the County‎, but the unofficial results are as follows:

2022-23 School District Budget of $99,477,734:
Yes: 871 (@ 82%)
No: 187 (@ 18%)

Proposition 2 – Rye High School Cafeteria HVAC Project:
Yes: 961 (@ 91%)
No: 98 (@ 9%)

Two uncontested candidates earned reelection to the Board of Education

Jane Anderson: 864
Jennifer Boyle: 879- votes

It was a low turnout this year. Of 10,809 eligible voters in the City of Rye School District, only about 10% turned out to cast a vote on Tuesday.
