The Rye Girls Varsity Softball has two MVPs:
Malena Santia (Senior 1B)
“Malena had a terrific season batting .435 for the year. She had 27 hits, 22 Runs, 33 Rbi, 7 Doubles, and 3 Home Runs,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “She was a terrific leader on and off the field. She earned All League Honors and Honorable Mention All Section.”
Ashley Kessner (Junior OF)
“Ashley also had a terrific season,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “She batted .483 with 28 hits, 24 Ru s, 5 Doubles, 14 BB, and 9 Stolen Bases. She also played an amazing CF with 0 errors and threw out 5 runners on the bases. She earned All League Honirs and Honorable Mention All Section as well.”
