Rye Boys Varsity Football put Pelham in the hutch Friday night. The Garnets traveled to the Pelham Pelicans’ roost to fish and bring home the 20-6 win. Varsity will host John Jay Cross River in the semifinal B bracket at Nugent Stadium next Friday, November 4th at 7:00pm.
“The coaching staff was extremely proud of the total team effort in last night’s game against Pelham, led by the offensive and defensive line play,” said Rye Boys Varsity Football Dino Garr. “The team played cohesively against a well coached and talented opponent. Our offense showed excellent ball management led by the kicking game and special teams. All facets of the team were key to winning the game.”
