Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse dug into the Somers Tuskers for a commanding 23-9 win at home for its season opener.
“We came out flying today in our season opener going up 6-0 on Somers, who ended our season in 2022 in sectionals,” said Rye Girls Varsity Lacrosse Coach Michelle Mason. “We were dominant on the draw, got a lot of people involved and producing offensively, and showed our potential on defense. We have tremendous speed, threats all over the field, and a deep bench. We couldn’t be more excited for an awesome season ahead and look forward to another chance for redemption against JJCR on Thursday!”
