Another boat in a rocky situation.
Just around the corner from last week’s mishap, Rye, Westchester and Mamaroneck PD – along with some help from Sea Tow – responded to a vessel on the rocks in Rye waters.
A catamaran with the name Next Wave 2.0 that was under power ran aground on the Scotch Caps rocks just off American Yacht Club. Rye PD reported the operator was uninjured.
Anyone following the Coast Guard buoys and channel navigation knows to steer clear of the area all around the Scotch Caps.
