Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey left Sleepy Hollow headless on Friday with a 7 – 2 win at home.
“(The) Whaling sisters score(d) a hat trick each,” said Rye Girls Varsity Field Hockey Coach Kelly Vegliante. “Lilly Whaling (Sr. Captain) scored 3 goals and her sister Beau Whaling (So) scored 3 goals along with one goal by Sienna Myers in Ryes 7-2 victory over Sleepy Hollow.”
Evelyn Nelson and Ruby Wild-Arons each had a goal for Sleepy Hollow. Rye goalie Chloe Holden had 4 saves and sleepy Hollow goalie Roxie Bloom had 10 saves.
