Renee Luria Leopold. September 6, 1925 to September 3, 2023. A long, full life for this proud poet. Born in Brooklyn, resident of NYC, Larchmont and Rye, NY. A spunky lady, always ready with fresh and original perspectives on people and life. ‘One cool grandmother.’ To the very end, Renee enjoyed dining out with family, friends, and pro secco.
Survived by her children Shoshana/Susan Leopold and Barbara Leopold (Fred Bilenkis), her granddaughters Elana Karan Leopold and Danyel Bilenkis. She is remembered by her sister Eleanor Brilliant. She is predeceased by Robert M Leopold, her husband of 75 years- the love of her life, their daughter Ronni J Leopold, and by her brother Leonard Luria.
