Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving lapped Pearl River-Albertus Magnus on Friday, taking the home meet 94 – 68.
“Rye-Blind Brook-Rye Neck had a great meet against Pearl River-Albertus Magnus after the holiday break,” said Rye Boys Varsity Swimming & Diving Coach Katie Konopka.
“Rye 9th grader Finn Hansen won the diving competition. Bryan Laverty, a senior from Rye, won the 200 Freestyle. Tripp Redd and Wilson Redd placed first and second in the 50 Freestyle. Blind Brook 9th grader Michael Hamlet placed second in the 500 Freestyle.
The team is 3 – 0. The Garnets face Woodlands on Tuesday at 4:30pm at the Theodore D Young Community Center.
