Rye Girls Varsity Softball was hunted by the Wolf Pac of Mahopac on Friday, falling 1 – 2 at the away game.
Great game by both teams, but in the end we came up short and lost 2 to 1,” said Rye Girls Varsity Softball Coach Alex Tejera. “We played good defense and had some great pitching today. I’m very proud of the easy they all played today.”
Game highlights included:
- Penelope Gilmore CG 6H 2ER 2BB 7K and was 1 for 4 with a run scored
- Caroline Joyce went 2 for 3 with an Rbi
- Jillian DeSanto, Hana Murati, and Clara Meszkat each had a hit in the game
The Gemstones are now 2 – 4 for the season. They playin a tournament at Westlake High School on Saturday at 1:00pm.
