Believe it or not, camp is just around the corner and Rye Rec needs your help. The Rec has issued the following donation list. Can you help?
"Spring has sprung and so has spring cleaning "One mans junk is camps treasure". We are looking for several items that will help make our camp experience as fun and enjoyable as possible. We have four summer camps with campers aging from 3-13. Please make sure the items are age appropriate, working, in good condition and have all pieces.
For Arts & Crafts-
Toilet paper rolls (just cardboard)
Paper towel rolls (just cardboard)
Shoe boxes (just cardboard)
Tissue boxes (just cardboard)
Cardboard containers
Baby food jars
Yarn
Fabric swatches
Wood scraps/pieces
Tiles
For Indoor Rec-
Lego's / Blocks
Board games (all pieces)
DVDs (Rated G or PG)
Pre School Active Play- play work benches, play beauty station, riding toys etc.
Take Apart Science- Old cell phones, remotes, keyboards, cameras, computer towers, stereos, cassettes (any electronic excluding monitors)
Refrigerator (Full size)
You can drop off items at Rye Recreation 281 Midland Ave Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 and for bigger items I can set up an appointment if needed.
