Rye High Schooler Cristiana Villani has received the Margaret Manley Community Service Scholarship from the Junior League of Westchester on the Sound (JLWOS). Villani will receive $4,000 towards college tuition to acknowledge her work co-founding Linking Handlebars, Inc. a not-for profit organization committed to promoting healthier lifestyles for children in need through the gift of a bicycle. As vice president of the non-profit, she communicates with donors and arranges bicycle pickups. To date, Linking Handlebars, Inc. has donated over 330 bicycles.

The JLWOS had the announcement in conjunction with $20,000 in grants to non-profit organizations elsewhere in Westchester.
