Over the last several weeks the Rye Free Reading Room and MyRye.com have asked various Rye citizens – elected officials, city staff, community leaders, merchants and local authors – to read a story for the youngest citizens of Rye.

Today, Rye City Councilwoman Julie Souza reads Todd Parr’s Be Who You Are.

Souza serves on the Rye City Council and the board of the Port Chester Carver Center. She has held business development positions with various sports media companies including ESPN and Sports Illustrated.
