Welcome to the Storytelling Project, Episode #25 with Ryan Coyne, PE – Rye City Engineer and Head of the DPW
Over the last several weeks the Rye Free Reading Room and MyRye.com have asked various Rye citizens – elected officials, city staff, community leaders, merchants and local authors – to read a story for the youngest citizens of Rye.
This week we run our last episodes of the Storytelling Project. A big shout out to all those who participated and for a great partnership with the Rye Free Reading Room.
Today, Ryan Coyne, PE – Rye City Engineer and Head of the Department of Public Works reads Candace Fleming’s Bulldozer’s Big Day. Ryan and the DPW are responsible for maintaining the City’s physical infrastructure, refuse collection, recycling, and vehicle maintenance.
A big shout out to the DPW for their continued hard work during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. When you see those street barriers out on Purchase Street starting Tuesday, remember the folks that make that happen.
