K9 GOA. March 3. Forest Avenue / Martin Butler Court. Dog Complaint. Caller stated Golden Retriever is running in the street and ran onto the property of _ Martin Butler Ct. searched area, K9 IS GOA 90/94.
What, A Drag? March 3. Playland Park. Thomas Keane Plaza. Assist Other Police Department. county police requesting another unit for assistance w/drag racing in parking lot. 3 vehicles, no description other than 1 is a VW. Po Staffiero dispatched. GOA.
Stop, No Sign. March 5. Theall Road / Garver Drive. Utility-All Other. Stop sign down, waiting for DPW. Spoke with Ryan from DPW and he stated that this street is not in the city code and is not a public street. Ryan stated he will not put out a portable stop sign. DPW arrived on scene My self and Sgt Rossi put the stop sign back up temporarily. deployed portable stop sign.

Dumping Fumes. March 5. Central Avenue / Summit Avenue. City Code Violation – Other. Caller reports a large dump truck idling for over 30 minutes for no apparent reason. He stated that it is facing the wrong way on the road. It is on Central Ave, between Summit Ave and Maple Ave. situation corrected.
Vale of Suspicion. March 6. Milton Road / Vale Place. Assist Citizen. Vehicles racing at a high rate of speed. White Dodge SUV and a Pick up truck. canvassed area, neg results. area quiet.
Clearly a Cat Burglar. March 6. North Street. Alarm-Burglary. Commercial alarm at the Rye/Harrison Veterinary Hospital. East Ward. back 11. secured from what could be checked.
In Urgent Need of Care. March 6. St. Regis Residences, Rye / 120 Old Post Road. Criminal Mischief. foreman ______ at location stated he left his truck running unoccupied at location for site. returned to vehicle to find unknown party had smashed out his vehicles window and stole his construction tools and equipment. security informed him that a male no description given was scene fleeing on foot with equipment in hand headed towards Westmed. canvass negative for suspect 98
