Boys Varsity Soccer Diced by Pelham
Rye Boys Varsity Soccer was diced by Pelham at home on Friday, losing 4-2.
“Henry Field opened the scoring before Pelham tied the match at 1-1,” said Rye Boys Varsity Soccer Coach Jared Small. “Luca Parrode scored his third goal of the season to put the Garnets back on top midway through the first half. Pelham scored three unanswered goals to finish the match.”
Aidan Haddad played 55 minutes of high quality soccer at right back, and Kyan Cox made his first career varsity start–including one sprawling save on a breakaway to keep Pelham from scoring early in the second half.
