Boys Boys Varsity Hockey Traps the JJCR Wolves

Rye Boys Varsity Hockey trapped the John Jay Cross River Wolves on Friday, winning 5-4.

“JP Zaicek scored the fifth goal early in the 3rd period and it was an important one that turned out to be the game winner,” said Rye Boys Varsity Hockey Coach Peter Thomas.

Jack Broderick had 2 goals, Tommy Richardson and Jackson Leahy each had 1 goal while Dempsey Brown had 3 assists and Lucas Tsuchida and Seth Dorfman each added 1 assist.
Brandon Morgan made 25 saves for the win.

The Garnet record is now 12-3. Varsity travels to Suffern next Friday for a 7:05pm game.
