Rye Girls Varsity Golf Head Coach Rich Savage has announced his MVP for the 2024 spring season: Myla Bisceglia.
“This year Myla led the team to a League Championship for the first time in four years,” Savage told MyRye.com. “[She] finished fourth in the two day sectional tournament to qualify for the Section 1 New York State Golf Team.”
Bisceglia certainly thrived in her third year with the program, qualifying for States for the first time and finishing 34th out of 109 at that event. She was Rye’s only representative on the Section 1 team, which came in second in the entire New York State. Her strong performance June 2-3 was the cherry on top of her amazing MVP season.
“The best news about this season is Myla is only a junior,” Savage said. “the entire team is excited to have [her for] another year in the program!”
