Off the diamond, he worked at the Midland Deli for many years, where he would reportedly “hold court” before heading out to his more prominent job as a co-owner of Twin Appliance Service. He owned said business with his brother George.
John J. Groglio tragically passed away on July 15, 2006, in his hometown of Greenwich, CT. He was surrounded by his wife Charlene, their daughter Nancy, brothers George and Nick, and three grandchildren. He was 75. More on Groglio.
