Early Voting Starts for Feb 11th Special Election for County Exec

Early voting in the City of Rye for the Tuesday, February 11, 2025 special election for Westchester County Executive started on Saturday, February 1, 2025 and runs for nine days through Sunday, February 9, 2025. The special election is to fill the unexpired County Executive term created by former County Executive George Latimer’s election to the House of Representatives for NY-16. All registered voters in Westchester County are eligible to vote.

The candidates are Kenneth W. Jenkins (D) and Christine A. Sculti (R). The winner of the special election will serve as County Executive until the expiration of the current term on December 31, 2025. Another election will be held in November 2025 for a full term. The League of Women Voters of Westchester announced that it will not be holding a candidate forum for the special election after Sculti declined participation.

  • Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Monday, February 3, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m.
  • Friday, February 7, 2025 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
