Dr. Erin Vredenburgh has been elevated to Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services of the Rye City School District. The news was shared in a message to the school community from Superintendent of Schools Tricia Murray. Vredenburgh has served as the district’s director of pupil personnel services and special education since 2019. 

Before coming to Rye, she worked as director of special education for the Dobbs Ferry School District for seven years. She also served as the special education coordinator in the Hyde Park Central School District and as a secondary special education math teacher.

Vredenburgh received a B.A. in mathematics and an M.A. in secondary special education from Mount Saint Mary’s College. She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from St. John’s University.
