Rye PD has made an arrest in another CVS larceny.

It was just last Friday when the police arrested two people at the Rye CVS for larceny (see Rye PD Arrests Two for Shoplifting at Boston Post Road CVS). On Wednesday, Rye PD arrested an individual for a larceny that took place back on Monday, August 4. On that day, PD received report of a larceny in progress. CVS employees stated that two males had stolen items and then fled in a black Nissan. The pair reportedly stole $838.98 of Ensure protein shakes – easily a dozen cases of the drinks used by those with nutritional deficiencies. An investigation was opened by Rye detectives and the subjects were identified.
Fast forward to Wednesday and Rye detectives picked up 23 year old Kazeem Walker of Brooklyn on an arrest warrant issued on August 12th in Rye City Court. Walker was in Eastchester Town Court appearing on charges out of that court when Rye detectives placed him under arrest. Walker was brought before a judge in Rye City Court and released on his own recognizance with a return date of Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 9:00am.
Rye PD reminds you that booking charges are merely accusations and the defendant(s) are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
