The Rye Girls Soccer team drew their second consecutive game 0-0, playing to the scoreless deadlock with Ursuline on Thursday, Septmber 11. The Garnets once again outchanced their opponent, but failed to finish their looks and will have to settle for one point.
“Although the Garnets had many opportunities to score, they couldn’t find the back of the net,” Head Coach Rich Savage told MyRye.com after the game. “Clare Nemsick, Julia Carballo and Ella Fleckton were solid on defense.”
The Garnets (3-0-2) continue to be very stingy on the back line, but the offense has not been as easy to come by lately. They will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, September 13, as they host Scarsdale at 3:00pm. Watch it here. Watch the replay vs. Ursuline here.
