Issy Mann celebrated her birthday with a hat trick, as she helped the Rye Field Hockey team crush Fox Lane 6-0 on Tuesday, September 16. The Garnets scored on their first two shots of the game and coasted to the victory from there thanks to a sizeable possession advantage.
“Issy Mann had a great game and found the back of the goal three times,” Head Coach Valerie Perkins told MyRye.com after the game. “In transition to our offense, she had a great reverse shot from the top of the circle.”
Liv Prata scored again for the Garnets as well, as did Katilyn Coyle and Kendall Bahl. Prata added an assist, while Beau Whaling recorded three helpers. Rye outshot the Foxes 20-1 to move to 4-1 on the season.
The Garnets next play on Thursday, September 18, as they travel up interstate 648 to visit Roy C. Ketcham for a 5:00pm start. Watch the victory over Fox Lane here.
