The Rye Volleyball team swept Mamaroneck at home on Tuesday, October 21, winning 25-21, 25-17, 25-16. The Garnets seemed to get better as the game went along in their final home match of the 2025 regular season, while simultaneously avenging their early-season loss to the Tigers on September 11.
Amelie Modesto produced a season-high 12.67 assists per set, totalling 38 set-ups in total. Statistically, she was more likely to pick up a helper on a Garnets’ point than not.
Audre Campbell continued her late-season surge with eleven kills and three blocks, both of which paced Rye. Phoebe Greto was not far behind with eight and two, respectively, and Valeria Medina put up nine kills to go along with a team-leading four aces. Lexi Kessner, Giorgia Brizio, and Emma Lunstead all chipped in in different ways to help Rye to the clean sweep in the penultimate game of their campaign.
Rye (14-3) will look to end the regular season on a high note on Thursday, October 23, as they travel to Ardsley. First serve is set for 4:30pm against the Panthers. Watch it here. Watch the Mamaroneck win here.
