The Rye Boys Squash team started off their 2026 season flawlessly, winning their first two matches of the year 7-0 and 7-0. The Garnets swept St. Luke’s on Tuesday, December 9, and then Street Squash the following day (Wednesday 12/10), without a trace of doubt.

Head Coach Quan Huynh described the Tuesday beatdown as “A fantastic opener for the varsity team.” He then said the following after Wednesday’s equally impressive result: “The boys are off to a quick start and will continue to practice over the next couple of weeks and are back in action after the holiday break.”

Rye is quickly 2-0 on the year in their quest to defend their Fairwest League title. The Garnets do not play again until January 6, 2026, against City Squash at Fordham University.
