The blizzard will keep Rye schools closed on Tuesday.
“Due to the ongoing cleanup efforts following the storm, all RCSD schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24th, to ensure the safety of our students and staff,” the Rye City School District posted online. It also said the Board of Education meeting, including the Board Service Interest Meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
