The Rye Boys Golf team defeated Tappan Zee but lost to Harrison in their most recent two matches, winning 213-252 on Thursday, May 7, but falling to the Huskies 208-209 on Tuesday, May 12. The Garnets earned the fifteenth win in a row at the end of last week but saw their streak of brilliance experience its first hiccup against the Huskies.

In the win, sophomore Finn Draddy medalled with a score of 41 to help lead the Garnets. In their one-stroke loss, sophomore Ryker Kevorkian and freshman Charlie Molloy tied for the match lead with medaling scores of 39, or +3 at Rye Golf Club.

Rye (15-1) has one more game left in the regular season on Thursday, May 14. After that, some of the Garnets will play for individual section titles on Monday, and the best scorers will qualify for states later in May.
