Mary Ann Strang, 86, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on May 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 26, 1939, in Rye, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Connors. After graduating from Jackson Memorial School of Nursing in Miami, Mary Ann built a fulfilling nursing career that spanned more than 30 years.
She was dedicated to caring for others and touched countless lives through her compassion and professionalism.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Dale Strang. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Burfield (Bob), and her brother, Robert Connors (Sally); her three daughters, Linda Lavorgna (Andy), Lori Gale (Steve), and Susan Veal (Dennis); eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cat Protection Society in Eustis, Florida.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her caring spirit, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
