The Rye Football team recently announced their regular season schedule for the 2026 season, which features eight games – four at home and four on the road – between September 4 and October 23. There are several noteworthy matchups on the docket, highlighted by the Rye-Harrison game on October 17. In 2026, ‘The Game’ is set for Nugent Stadium.
The full schedule is below:
September 4 at 7:00pm: home vs Cornwall Central
September 10 at 6:00pm: away at Clarkstown South
September 18 at 7:00pm: home vs Eastchester
September 25 at 6:30pm: away at Mount Vernon
October 2 at 6:30pm: away at Somers
October 9 at 7:00pm: home vs Nyack
October 17 at 1:30pm: home vs Harrison
October 23 at 6:00pm: away at Clarkstown North
1:30pm on October 17 is the earliest start for the Garnets, but also later than usual against the Huskies. Beyond just that rivalry game, the Garnets have key matchups with Somers on the road on October 2 and against both Clarkstowns on September 10 and October 23.
Just like last year, there is a real possibility the Garnets play their first postseason game on Halloween night (Saturday, October 31). Last year, fans adorned costumes and watched Rye topple Brewster at Nugent Stadium.
Rye will enter the 2026 season with zero losses in the current presidential administration.
