Overview:

As of June 11th, 2026, Rye Playland has 40 active rides, with 10 of them or 25% of all rides closed. The water rides typically open later in the season. Since 2019, several rides have been removed or decommissioned.

For 2026, MyRye.com is continuing its weekly Rye Playland Ride Watch, showing what rides are open and closed in Rye Playland. This information will be updated each week prior to the weekend based on available, self-reported information from Playland (1).

After repeated requests, on June 3 the Westchester County Parks Department provided MyRye.com an updated accounting of current rides iun the park and rides that have been removed from the park since 2019. Please send us a message if you are aware of other updates now or in the future.

Our current, refreshed accounting of rides at Playland shows 40 active rides in the park. As of Thursday, June 11th, 2026, ten (10) rides or 25% of all rides are closed. Officials have told us previously that the water rides typically open later in the season.
