Virginia Henry Vuolo, of Lenox MA, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Ginny was born on June 18, 1940, in Yonkers, NY, daughter of the late John Kenneth Henry and Agnes Kubovic Henry. She grew up in Rye, NY, a graduate of Resurrection School and Rye High School, class of 1958. She graduated from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York in 1961 and worked in New York City for International General Electric Co. and Mobil Chemical Co., jobs which enabled her to travel to Europe with co-workers.

Ginny married Jerry Vuolo in 1964, and they lived in Harrison, NY and Yorktown Heights, NY, where they raised three sons and which kept her busy with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and various sports. She worked for the Town Clerk and Town Engineer of Yorktown.

In 1981, while attending a 4-day Catholic Mission, Ginny was prompted by the Lord to move, which then brought the family to Lenox Dale, MA. Jerry relocated his Antique Restoration business to their property, and Ginny worked for several companies, the last being as a Legal Secretary for Hannon Lerner, P.C. in Lee.

Ginny was a devout Catholic, a member of Our Lady of Mercy Prayer Group in Stockbridge and of St. Mary’s Oratory in Lee. Her faith was the most important part of her life, followed by her children and grandchildren. She loved all animals, especially collies and her schnoodle, Abby, horseback riding, playing piano and managing the family genealogy.

Predeceased by her sister, Gloria H. Lynch, of Newtown, PA; she is survived by her husband, Jerry, her three sons; Kenneth of Pittsfield, Andrew and Fiona of Lee, Jeffrey of Lenox, and five grandchildren; Andrew Jr., Anna, Lucy, Rachel and Jason. She is also survived by her nephew Bill Lynch and niece, Barbara Jean Heydacker, all of Newtown, PA.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday. August 31, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Ann Church in Lenox with Monsignor John Bonzagni, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. There will be calling hours beginning at 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at Roche Funeral Home, 120 Main Street, Lenox, MA 01240. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
