MyRye.com features dogs and cats that are up for adoption by Pet Rescue, a no kill pet shelter in Harrison.
Simba
Status: Adoptable
Age: Born August 2025
Breed: DSH – Orange Tabby
Gender: Male
Adult size: Small (35 lbs & under)
Simba lost his home when his family could no longer care for him and he’s feeling a little homesick. He misses curling up on a couch with the comforting sounds of a loving family. Simba is a sweet, fun loving young boy who thrives on attention and investigating the activity around him. If you have other feline friends at home, you’re in luck! He gets along with other cats, viewing them as built in playmates and companions to snuggle up with during naptime. Simba also does well with children. His gentle nature makes him perfectly suited for the energy and attention of young family members. If you’re looking for a sweet companion to add to your family, Simba is waiting to go home with you.
If you want to meet Simba, or any of the other dogs or cats at Harrison’s Pet Rescue, you can learn more about the adoption and foster processes, email (nypetrescue@gmail.com) or call ((914) 835-3332). The shelter is located at 7 Harrison Avenue in Harrison. You can also volunteer at the shelter.
