Trashy Behavior. July 8. Purchase Street. City Code Violation – Other. caller complaint about trash cans. GARBAGE DUMPED ON NEW ST, SUMMONS ISSUED TO PROPERTY MANAGER, IDENTIFIED AS TOM _____.

O-K-ayak. July 8. Playland Cove /Long Island Sound. Vessel In Distress. received a call that a Kayak may be in distress. made contact with vessel all is OK.

Cannot Canoe. July 8. Marshlands Conservancy. Vessel In Distress. canoe with a broken paddle. successfully on board.

Squirrely Situation. July 8. Ridge Street. Animal Acting Rabid. possible rabid squirrel under a trash can in the driveway.

Not Normal. July 9. Brookdale Place. Road-All Other. possible flooding. WATER IS COMING OUT OF THE MANHOLE COVER AT THE END OF BROOKDALE. THE DESK WILL CONTACT DPW N REGARDS TO SAID ISSUE.

No Fireworks. July 10. Edith Read Sanctuary / Long Island Sound. Fireworks. Standby for Playland fireworks. completed without incident.

Another Reason Not to Use Bottled Water. July 10. Marriott Courtyard / 631 Midland Avenue. Harassment-2nd Degree: 01 Physical Contact. marriott manager called stated a guest had thrown a water bottle at her.

Sinking Feeling. July 11. Milton Harbor / Long Island Sound. Assist Citizen. vessel in mooring field taking on water, owned by AYC. Assisted AYC staff with de-watering vessel without incident.

House Cleaned Out. July 12. Pine Island Road. Alarm-Burglary. duress alarm triggered at ___ residence. SET OFF IN ERROR BY HOUSE CLEANERS. 98.

Bambi Down. July 12. Boston Post Road / Playland Parkway. Animal Struck By MV. report of deer struck by car and dead in roadway. DPW HAS THAT ANIMAL 98.

Eyes on BLM. July 13. Park Avenue. Property Check. Check on BLM sign. Deployment of trail cam. Sign present.

Bad Driver. July 13. Cedar Place / Manursing Avenue. Utility-Water Break. Water running down Manursing. A fire hydrant was knocked over by a truck it appears that turned on Cedar from Manursing. There are visible tire tracks on grass. DPW has put up barricades by the hydrant -Suez was contacted by DO Lt. + Utility-Wire Down. Telephone Pole #4 Struck and damaged. Con Edison notified. Tape was put around the pole to mark off area.

Good Buddy Stuck. July 13. Purchase Street / Station Plaza. Truck Stuck Under Bridge. backed 17. issued x1. BACKED.

Wall of Fire. July 14. Forest Avenue. Fire. County Fire Control requests a car and EMS at the above address for a fire in the wall. Larchmont, Harrison and New Rochelle FD on scene with RFD. Con Ed on scene as well. Assisting FD has left scene. Scene taped off.

Fender Bender. July 14. Forest Avenue. Assist Citizen. homeowner found a front and rear bumper to a jeep in bushes adjacent to __ Drake Smith Lane. Complainant wanted to check and make sure it was not stolen property before being thrown out. jeep bumpers on back of Mrs. _____ property line. no VIN on parts appears to be garbage on curbside of road. no complaints of missing car parts 98.

Health Check. July 14. Glen Oaks Drive / Hughes Avenue. Coyote Sighting. coyote running through yards by itself looks healthy.
